Incompatible browser message on login

Guide for which internet browsers CareBlox supports and how to access the system using Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge in Internet Explorer compatibility mode.

CareBlox only works in Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge using Internet Explorer (IE) mode.


Using Internet Explorer

Most Windows 10 PCs already have Internet Explorer installed.

To open it:

  1. Click the Windows Start button

  2. Type Internet Explorer

  3. Open the application

  4. Go to your CareBlox web address and sign in

If you cannot find Internet Explorer, contact your IT team.


Using Microsoft Edge (Internet Explorer Mode)

You can access CareBlox in Internet Explorer mode through Microsoft Edge.

Set up Internet Explorer mode:

  1. Open Microsoft Edge

  2. Click the three dots (top right) → Settings

  3. Select Default browser

  4. Set:

    • Let Internet Explorer open sites in Microsoft EdgeIncompatible sites only

    • Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer modeAllow

  5. Restart Edge

Open CareBlox in Internet Explorer mode:

  1. Go to your CareBlox login page

  2. Click the three dots

  3. Select Reload in Internet Explorer mode

  4. Pin this option to the toolbar for easy access

  5. Click the IE mode button each time you log in

This ensures CareBlox opens in the correct mode every time.
