If you’re unable to open Internet Explorer, or CareBlox automatically opens or reloads in Microsoft Edge, you may need to update your Microsoft Edge browser settings. Follow the steps below based on how you want to access CareBlox.
Open CareBlox directly in Internet Explorer
Open Microsoft Edge.
Click the three dots in the top‑right corner.
Select Settings.
Click Default browser from the left‑hand menu.
Under Let Internet Explorer open sites in Microsoft Edge, select Never.
Close all Edge browser windows.
Open Internet Explorer and try accessing CareBlox again.
Use Internet Explorer mode in Microsoft Edge
Open Microsoft Edge.
Click the three dots and select Settings.
Select Default browser from the left‑hand menu.
Set Let Internet Explorer open sites in Microsoft Edge to Always.
Turn on Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode.
Click Restart to restart the browser.
After Edge restarts:
Open the CareBlox login page.
Click the three dots in the top‑right corner of Edge.
Select Reload in Internet Explorer mode.
🤓Tip: To make this quicker next time, right‑click Reload in Internet Explorer mode and select Show in toolbar.
Internet Explorer is not installed
If you see a message saying Internet Explorer is not installed, you may need to add it as an optional Windows feature.
Click Start.
Go to Settings.
Select Apps.
Click Optional features.
Select Add a feature.
Add Internet Explorer.
Internet Explorer icon not showing
If Internet Explorer is installed but the icon is missing, follow the separate guide for restoring the Internet Explorer shortcut.
