If your terminal won’t turn on, try the checks below before contacting support.
Power checks
Press the power button and make sure the terminal is switched on at the wall.
Check the screen:
A black screen may still be on if it’s faintly lit.
Look for indicator lights on the terminal.
Check the wall socket by plugging in another device (for example, a fan or phone charger).
If needed, plug the terminal into a different socket.
Restart the terminal
If there is still no response:
Remove the tablet from the terminal casing.
Press and hold Power + Volume Up for 10 seconds.
Release the buttons when the Linx logo appears.
Check for error messages
Note any error messages shown on screen (for example, Automatic Repair).
If the login screen appears after a power cut, support may need to log in manually.
