Unable to add sickness record

Guide when your unable to add a sickness record for an employee.

This can happen if the employee’s name contains symbols (such as apostrophes). These symbols can prevent the employee from being selected when adding records.

How to fix it:

  1. Log in to CareBlox and open the Payroll module.

  2. Click Employees.

  3. Find the employee and double‑click their name to open their profile.

  4. Remove any symbols from the first or last name fields.

  5. Click Update to save.

Once the symbols are removed, you should be able to add the sickness record as normal.
