Unable to link fob

Guide for when your unable to link the fob

If you are having trouble linking a fob to an employee, please try the following areas.


Check that there is an existing employee record

Before a fob can be linked to an employee, there needs to be a record in the Payroll module for the employee. To check that there is an employee record:

  1. Log in to the Payroll module of CareBlox.

  2. Click on the Employees menu option.

  3. Check through the records to see if there is an employee record.


Removing old fob information

Normally, linking a new fob to an employee will overwrite any old information for the fobs however you can manually remove this information if you are having issues.

  1. Log in to the Payroll module of CareBlox.

  2. Click on the Employees menu option.

  3. Double-click on the employee in question to open their record.

  4. Click on the T&A tab.

  5. Delete any information sitting in the Fob ID box.

  6. Click the Update button to commit.

  7. Wait about 10 minutes, then re-try to link a fob.
