Creating a Roster Template
Roster templates let you save shift patterns so they can be reused week‑to‑week, saving time.
How to Create a Template
Log in to CareBlox and open the Payroll module.
Click Attendance > Roster.
Use the calendar to move to a future week so current rosters aren’t affected.
Click Add Shift (top‑left).
Select the Department, Employee, Role, and Rate.
Tick the days of the week the shift applies to.
Click Save.
Repeat for other employees as needed.
Once all shifts are added, click Save Template (above the roster).
Select Save as New Template.
Enter a template name (e.g. Care Staff) and save.
Click Clear Week, then OK, to remove the test shifts.
Checking a Roster Template
Select a blank future week using the calendar.
Click Open Template.
Choose the template from the Saved Templates list.
Click Add template shifts to the current week, then Select.
Click OK to apply the template.
Review the shifts.
Click Clear Week to remove the template after checking.
This confirms the template is set up correctly and ready to use.
