Discharged instead of deceased
If a client has been marked as discharged instead of deceased, the best option (where available) is to re‑admit the client and then update the status correctly.
Log in to the Clients module in CareBlox.
Click Clients.
Tick the Discharged status to find the client.
Click the information (i) icon next to the client’s name.
Select Re‑admit.
Enter a re‑admission date.
Select a bed.
Click Next to complete the process.
Once re‑admitted, you can then discharge the client again using the correct deceased status and details.
Deceased instead of discharged
If a client has been marked as deceased instead of discharged, this must be corrected by the support team.
